Located in Union County, historic Westfield was first settled in 1720 and was part of the Elizabethtown Tract. Franklin Elementary, Jefferson Elementary, McKinley Elementary, Tamaques Elementary, Washington Elementary, Wilson Elementary, Edison Intermediate School, Roosevelt Intermediate and Westfield High School are the fine choices in public schools. Private schools include Holy Trinity Interparochial School which serves grades 1-8.
